This equipment features a high heat transfer coefficient, high evaporation intensity, short heating time, and wide operating flexibility. It is particularly suitable for the evaporation, concentration, and distillation purification of heat-sensitive and high-viscosity materials. It has been widely used in the fields of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, pesticides, light industry, daily chemicals, biochemistry, fine chemicals, and petrochemicals, achieving excellent results.

High Heat Transfer Coefficient and Evaporation Rate
The Rotary Thin Film Evaporator is a new type of high-efficiency evaporator that uses a rotating scraper to form a forced film and performs falling-film evaporation under vacuum conditions. It features a high heat transfer coefficient, high evaporation intensity, short heating time, and wide operating flexibility.
The feed solution is evenly distributed onto the inner cylinder wall via the distribution ring, where rotating scrapers force it to form a thin, uniform liquid film that moves downward in a turbulent flow, absorbing heat from the jacket to rapidly evaporate and concentrate.
By maintaining a high vacuum (-0.095 MPa) inside the equipment, the boiling point of the material is significantly reduced, enabling low-temperature evaporation of heat-sensitive materials and preventing decomposition.
The material remains in the evaporator for only about 10 seconds, effectively preventing decomposition, polymerization, and oxidation of the product during the evaporation process.
The overall heat transfer coefficient can reach 7,000 J/(m²·s·K), and the evaporation rate can reach 100–150 kg of solvent/(m²·h).
The secondary steam is discharged upward after passing through a demister to remove entrained droplets and foam, ensuring the purity of the steam.
Because the boiling point of the material is lowered, low-grade steam can be used for heating, resulting in energy savings and a reduction in consumption of more than 50%.
The scraper forces turbulence and precisely finishes the inner wall, preventing material from coking or scaling on the heating surface.
Rotary Thin Film Evaporators are widely used in the chemical industry for the concentration of high-viscosity resins and the purification of catalyst solutions; in the pharmaceutical industry for the concentration of traditional Chinese medicines and heat-sensitive pharmaceutical solutions, as well as for the recovery of organic solvents; and in the environmental protection industry for the reduction and concentration of industrial wastewater and the treatment of saline wastewater. They are particularly suitable for processing heat-sensitive, high-viscosity, scale-prone, and foam-prone materials.

The inner surface of the evaporator is machined and polished to a high degree of smoothness; as the material absorbs heat and evaporates here, scaling is unlikely to occur.
Maintain the vacuum seal at the shaft end
Effectively removes droplets and foam entrained in the secondary steam
Rotate the fabric to distribute the liquid evenly along the inner cylinder wall
Supports the bottom rotation shaft for easy maintenance
